May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 NIV

Too often, I put my hope in the wrong places … a person, an outcome, my checking account.
Inevitably, I’m always let down. People aren’t perfect. Circumstances change. Money comes and goes.
Only God can satisfy. He’s the true source, and he doesn’t skimp. God distributes hope not in drips but in doses that drench.
Hope isn’t wishful thinking. Biblically speaking, it means confident expectation.
When you know the Lord and his character, you can count on him to come through.
So if you’re feeling dry, drained, or disillusioned, maybe you’ve misplaced your hope.
Thankfully, you can always turn to the God of hope and ask for a fresh filling.
As David prays in Psalm 25:5, “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
Hope is alive, available, and in abundant supply. May you access what’s already yours in Christ today … and every day.
