avid learner + lover of deep conversations and dark coffee

Writing for me has been an inescapable, life-long theme. I started college planning a career in physical therapy — and then graduated as an English major.

My next stop was grad school, which led to a career working in higher education communications and marketing.

Although writing made up a major part of my day job, I craved an outlet to write about what really mattered to me: faith and following Jesus.

I started my first blog in 2018 — a small step that sparked a big shift in my life. The same year, I left my marketing job to follow a call into the unknown.

Next I spent nearly two years in a church residency program, earning a second, very unexpected, master’s degree in ministry. (Click here to see what my mentors said about me.)

Now I’m trying my best to follow wherever God leads, which includes overseeing this creative community.

If you want to write or speak or publish worthy words of any kind, words that have the potential to change culture and shift nations, Worthy Words Co. is your tribe!
