You’re for sure in the right place.
If you’re reading these words, I bet you’re my kind of person …
- Imperfectly courageous (and likely caffeinated)
- Filled with faith, passion, and purpose
- An authentic human (read: work in progress)
It’s nice to meet you!
I’m Chelsea, a copywriter, blogger, and dog lover.
From my first dear diary entry in grade school, I’ve always loved words. Naturally, I grew up to be an English major and media writing professor.
Amid my decade-plus of experience as a working writer, I’ve added to my arsenal an M.A. in Communication and M.A. in Ministry Leadership. (Can ya tell I love to learn?)
I currently live in the Cornhusker state with my husband and wheaten terrier mix. I’m an at-home crossfitter, almost-daily dog walker, and avid reader of all the books (nonfiction forever).
I left my higher education marketing career in 2018 to follow an invitation into the unknown. I spent two years in a church residency program in Omaha, serving in ministry while earning an unexpected second master’s degree. (Click the photo to hear what some of my mentors said about me.)
I’m a big believer in taking faith-filled risks and watching God provide.
Now, I’m simply staying on the path he shows me, which currently looks like chasing after my passions for writing, teaching, and life transformation. (I want to see souls come alive.)
These days, you can most often find me in front of my Mac (with snacks and a snoozing dog nearby) writing for clients and creating blog content that brings help, hope, and life.
I’m honored you’re here and would love to keep this good thing going.
You may be wondering, Where to next?
So glad you asked…
