A New Wardrobe
God wants to reclothe you.
I love that feeling that comes with wearing something new.
When I put on a brand new tank top or a fresh pair of Nike Metcons, I’m extra motivated to crush my workout. (Anyone else feel like new gym shoes give you superpowers?)

Appropriate attire is essential to training, whether you’re running a marathon or walking with Jesus. When it comes to faith, though, our wardrobes are changed from within.
So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline.
Colossians 3:12 MSG
When we’re wearing the wrong wardrobe — living with shame, insecurity, fear, fill-in-the-blank — it will weigh us down, stunt our growth, and stifle our ability to love God, live on mission, and reach others with the gospel.
But there’s a solution … because God grants us access to new “clothing.” When you place your faith in Jesus, he clothes you with his supernatural power (see Luke 24:49).
Sealed with his Spirit, you’re set free from sin’s death grip and set apart for new life in Christ. This means you’ve outgrown your old, earthly nature with all its uncomfortable armor, such as anger, slander, and other evil desires (see Colossians 3:5-9).
Strip it all away. And in its place, put on what truly suits you. Partner with your Creator, letting him wrap you in a wardrobe tailor-made to fit your new nature as a son or daughter who’s chosen, holy, and dearly loved.
God wants to reclothe you. Whether you require a slight change or an entire closet clean-out, you can trust his style.
